Natural Deodorant for Sensitive Skin
Bicarb free. Aluminium free. Made in our own Sydney facility.
It works. We guarantee it or your money back.

Deodorant Details
Bicarb is the ingredient most often behind stinging and redness, and our Sensitive formula leaves it out. Instead of sodium bicarbonate we use magnesium hydroxide drawn from sea water and zinc oxide to neutralise odour, with bamboo and tapioca starch to absorb moisture. Twelve ingredients, eleven if you choose unscented.
Two options: lightly scented with Bergamot Tangerine, or no fragrance at all.
Made in our own facility in Brookvale, Sydney. Our award-winning formula is aluminium free and vegan, and every ingredient is checked against our safety and environmental guidelines.

Why does natural deodorant irritate some people?
Why does natural deodorant irritate some people?
Usually bicarb. Sodium bicarbonate is alkaline and very good at neutralising odour, which is why most natural deodorants use it. On freshly shaved or reactive skin, that same alkalinity is what causes the itching, redness and occasional rash people describe when they say natural deodorant did not agree with them.
It is not everyone. Plenty of people use bicarb formulas happily for years. But if you have reacted to a natural deodorant before, bicarb is the first thing to rule out.
What makes the Sensitive formula different?
What makes the Sensitive formula different?
We swap the bicarb for two gentler actives. Magnesium hydroxide, from a natural marine source, neutralises odour without the high alkalinity. Zinc oxide does the rest.
Everything else stays: bamboo and tapioca starch for moisture, shea butter and coconut oil to keep skin comfortable, vitamin E to preserve it. Same two-year development with Australian cosmetic chemists, same refillable case.

Does bicarb free mean it works less well?
Does bicarb free mean it works less well?
It means it works differently. Bicarb is the most aggressive odour neutraliser in natural deodorant, so a bicarb-free formula trades a little of that strength for a lot of gentleness.
For most people that trade is invisible in daily use. If you sweat heavily or train hard, the Original formula is the stronger of the two, and worth trying first if your skin has never given you trouble.
Which one should I choose?
Which one should I choose?
Sensitive Unscented if fragrance is the thing that sets your skin off, or if you would rather not smell of anything at all. No fragrance, natural or otherwise.
Sensitive Bergamot Tangerine if it is the actives that bother you rather than scent. A bright citrus, kept light.
Will it handle sweat?
Will it handle sweat?
Not completely, and no deodorant does. Blocking sweat is what antiperspirants do, using aluminium salts, and there are none in ASUVI.
What it does do is absorb. Bamboo and tapioca starch take up moisture through the day, so you stay noticeably drier, while the magnesium and zinc handle odour. After a workout, reapplying takes seconds.
How do I switch without a reaction?
How do I switch without a reaction?
Patch test first. A small amount on your inner forearm, left for a day or two, tells you most of what you need to know.
Then give it a fortnight. Coming off an antiperspirant, your skin rebalances and you will sweat and smell more than usual for one to two weeks. That settles. Judge it after the fortnight, not during.
Apply thinly. Two or three swipes is plenty, and a thin layer is far less likely to irritate than a thick one.
I have eczema or very reactive skin. Can I use it?
I have eczema or very reactive skin. Can I use it?
We make cosmetics, not treatments, so we cannot tell you how ASUVI will behave on a skin condition, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
What we can tell you is exactly what is in it and what is left out: no bicarb, no aluminium salts, no synthetic fragrance, and an unscented version with no fragrance at all. If you are managing a skin condition, take that ingredient list to your GP or dermatologist and ask. Patch test either way.
What if it does not agree with me?
What if it does not agree with me?
Send it back. If it does not work for you within 30 days, you do not pay for it. That applies to the case as well as the refills, and it is the same guarantee we give on every formula we make.
